We are a community of devotees living in Brighton & Hove, holding regular programmes and festivals for ‘Kirtan’ (congregational chanting) taking ‘Prasadam’ (spiritual food) and reading from Vedic Scriptures (Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam etc).
Our meetings & festivals are open to anyone regardless of age, gender, cultural or religious backgrounds. They are for anyone curious and interested in exploring the spiritual aspect to our existence.
Our events are free of charge and rely on donations and our own contributions. Our only interest is sharing what we have learned from our spiritual teachers and the joy to be gained from the practice of Bhakti Yoga.
Although we have no formal Temple as such, we have regular programs either at our festivals or at our weekly group sanghas.(click HERE for ‘Hare Krishna Fridays’)
Please feel free to contact us and come along, whether you are just curious or have been to Hare Krishna meetings before, all are welcome. All our meetings involve sharing vegetarian food (prasadam) so come with an empty stomach!

Hello,
Just wondering, do the Brighton and Hove Hare Krishna’s provide low cost vegan meals like they do in some other places?
Thanks
Aoife
Hare Krishna Aoife,
we do not have a facility to provide meals to folk here in Brighton.
We are a relatively small group of devotees here and have no large enterprises going on at the moment. (But who knows in the future?)
All our programs and festivals include a free Vegan meal (Prasadam) so keep in touch and hopefully we will see you there!
Thanks for checking out the site, bhaktalen@ntlworld.com if i can do anything for you.
best wishes,
Len.

Hello everybody,
I’ve been on Sunday (or saturday?) the 24th march in the Tulsi shop and had a little talk with the devotee about Mother Amma and Mother Meera. I’m the girl from Germany, which lives for one year in Liverpool. This guy really aroused my curiosity, because I never engaged myself with Hare Krishna.
Now I found this website and saw that you have Hare Krishna Fridays. Next week I’m in London again and I would really like to visit you on friday and have a talk with you, but unfortunately I don’t have any opportunity to stay in Brighton. Do you have any ideas where I could stay for one or two nights next week (from 12th of april)?
Thank you very much,
Saphira
