Gaura Purnima Festival

This festival is to celebrate the anniversary of the appearance of Sri Krishna Chaitanya, the ‘golden Avatar’ of Krishna.

Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in this world in 1486, in Mayapur, West Bengal, India.

Lord Chaitanya is glorified as being the most munificent Lord, because He freely distributed life’s most precious gift — pure love of Godhead.

He is praised as being the most merciful Lord because He distributes His mercy without discrimination to all, without any consideration of whether one is qualified or not.

Although He is the Supreme Lord, Krishna, He posed as a devotee, and revealed the most sublime sentiments and the natural disposition of a devotee. He taught us by His own example how to establish a connection with the Lord through the practice of pure devotion.

He spread the Yuga-dharma, or the practice most recommended for the attainment of pure love for Sri Sri Radha-Krishna. That process is Harinam Sankirtan, or the congregational chanting of the Holy Names of the Lord:

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

Please join us on this most auspicious occasion.!

Jaya Gauranga!

  1. I am very happy finding you on the net. I was a Buddhist and I had nirvana. Later I become Vienna Meher Baba and the 32. reincarnation of Jesus after the life as Avatar Meher Baba but I have problems to spread those happy news about Jesus and Meher Baba. In this life I am specially for love to Godhead by Srila Prahbupada and Lord Chaytana. My e-mail do not work good so I can not read your answer to my comment so let your work be the answer. After spreading those news to enough people there will be a fall of Holy spirit over Mankind. Yours Oliver Vienna Meher Baba and 32. reincarnation of Jesus
