Friday 16th August - Pastimes of Rupa Goswami

This Friday we are back and celebrating the disappearance day (day of passing away) of the great Vaisnava teacher, poet and saint, Srila Rupa Goswami.

Gaudiya Vaishnavas (Hare Krishna movement) are also called as rupanugas, or followers of Srila Rupa Goswami as the teachings and philosophy of Caitanya Mahaprabhu (the Golden Avatar of Krishna) are made available through the literature of Rupa Goswami, one of the famous six Goswami’s of Vrindavan.

“When will Srila Rupa Gosvami Prabhupada, who has established within this material world the mission to fulfill the desire of Lord Caitanya, give me shelter under his lotus feet?“

Please join us to hear and take part in the discussion of his life and pastimes.

As usual we will also have Kirtan (chanting with musical instruments) -the most effective method of self-realisation for this age- and finish with a Veggie/Vegan Spiritual Feast.

We look forward to seeing you there!
