This 'Hare Krishna Friday', we will examine 'the only way to have peace of mind', with the help of listening to a class by Srila Prabhupada (the founder of the modern day Hare Krishna Movement) from 1974.
In 1965, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, known to his followers as Srila Prabhupada, brought Krsna consciousness (Bhakti Yoga) to the West, a tradition practiced in India for millennia. He translated the great spiritual works such as the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, who's esoteric wisdom gives the secret to real happiness.
Tonight we will listen and discuss the topics raised, from a verse from the 7th Chapter of the Bhagavad Gita entitled 'Knowledge of the absolute'. Click HERE for the verse.
As usual we will also have Kirtans (chanting with musical instruments) -the most effective method of self-realisation for this age- and finish with a Veggie/Vegan Spiritual Feast.
We look forward to seeing you there!
