Friday 23rd February - Nityananda Prabhu: The Embodiment of Compassion

This Friday is yet another special occasion and again celebrating the appearance of one of the 'Pancha Tattva' - the five aspects of the Absolute Truth.

We are celebrating the appearance of Nityananda prabhu, the closest associate of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the founder of Gaudiya Vaishnavism (modern day 'Hare Krishna movement') and an avatar of none other than Krishna Himself, who spread the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra as the most effective way for self realisation. Nityananda Himself is none other than an avatar of Balaram (Krishna's brother), yet Lord Krsna and Balarama are non-different. God is one without a second, but He expands Himself in many forms that express predominant attributes. Lord Nityananda is the embodiment of compassion.

Please join us and hear more of the great personality with the help of discussion and devotional songs (Bhajans).

As usual we will also have Kirtans (chanting with musical instruments) and finish with a Veggie/Vegan Spiritual Feast.

We look forward to seeing you there!

BMECP centre, near to the rear of Brighton's train station - 10 Fleet St, Brighton, BN1 4ZE.
